In a celebration of its 30th anniversary, Diablo 2: Resurrected has launched an exciting new downloadable content (DLC) package called Reign of the Warlock. Nintendo Switch players can start exploring the new features and enhancements today.
The Reign of the Warlock DLC introduces a brand new character class, the Warlock, along with a host of new treasures, quality-of-life improvements, and other gameplay enhancements. Players will have the opportunity to wield dark magic and unlock a deeper level of gameplay with additional items, sets, and runewords.
This transformative DLC invites players to once again confront the demons of Hell with an updated experience that maintains the essence of the original game while adding new dimensions to its story and challenges. The Warlock class stands out as a master of the shadows who draws power from the Burning Hells to confront its own threats. Players can choose from three distinct paths: the Demon path, which focuses on summoning and controlling fearsome allies; the Eldritch path, which enhances weapons with powerful mental magic; and the Chaos path, which enables players to unleash elemental destruction upon their enemies.
Key features of the DLC include a revamped Terror Zones system that allows players to choose their battles strategically, facing off against challenging foes for greater rewards. The ultimate challenge awaits with the resurgence of the Ancients, offering seasoned players a chance to test their abilities and party coordination against formidable opponents.
Several quality-of-life updates have also been integrated into the game. The new customizable Loot Filter helps players streamline their inventory management, while updated Stash Tabs make it easier to organize items and resources.
