Denise Austin has recently shared three effective Pilates moves that engage the entire body, providing a simple way to boost strength and enhance circulation without the need for any equipment. The 68-year-old fitness expert took to Instagram to demonstrate these quick exercises, encouraging her followers to take a moment to move and feel strong throughout the day.

“Let’s get moving everyone!! I’m sharing three of my favorite Pilates moves to help you feel strong and centered,” Austin captioned her post. These moves are not only easy enough to incorporate into a daily routine but also beneficial for anyone looking to stay active, whether at work or during a morning stretch.

The first move, called flat back arm swings, involves folding the body into an “L” shape with knees slightly bent and back straight. Austin demonstrates swinging one arm forward while the other swings back, alternating between the two. This exercise engages the arms, core, and upper back, and she suggests doing it for one minute.

The second exercise, side crunches, targets the waistline. While standing tall, Austin raises her arms and pulls one elbow down towards her side, simultaneously lifting the corresponding knee to touch the elbow. She recommends performing this move for 30 seconds on each side.

The last move, leg swings, focuses on the lower body. Standing on one foot, Austin swings the other leg forward and backward while mimicking the motion with her arms for balance. This exercise helps to lengthen and tone the thighs, and she advises switching legs after 30 seconds.

Denise Austin continues to inspire many with her practical fitness tips, proving that simple movements can effectively engage the body and improve overall well-being in just a few minutes.
