Delilah Belle Hamlin, the model and daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, has opened up about her ongoing battle with endometriosis, a condition that had gone undiagnosed for several years. In a recent appearance on the She MD podcast, she detailed her health struggles and the long road to her diagnosis, revealing that her symptoms were often dismissed by various gynecologists.

For years, Delilah experienced debilitating symptoms, including painful periods, bloating, and severe cramps. Despite her distress, endometriosis was never suggested as a possible diagnosis until she heard another celebrity, Halsey, discuss her own experiences with the condition. “I had really painful periods,” Delilah stated during the podcast episode on December 9. “I saw so many different gynecologists and no one mentioned endometriosis.”

Initially, Delilah considered the possibility of having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), yet it was her persistent and excruciating cramps that led to a diagnosis of PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder). Her journey underscores the importance of awareness surrounding endometriosis and the need for better education among healthcare providers regarding the condition, which affects many women.

Delilah’s candid discussion not only sheds light on her personal struggles but also highlights a broader issue within women’s health— the frequent oversight of severe conditions like endometriosis. By sharing her story, Delilah hopes to encourage other women to pursue their health concerns vigorously and seek proper medical support. As more public figures are willing to discuss their challenges, it may motivate others to speak out, paving the way for improved understanding and treatment options in women’s health issues.
