Haiden Deegan has expressed his eagerness to learn from seasoned competitors as he makes his 450 debut at the World Supercross Championship (WSX) in Argentina. Although fans are eagerly anticipating his participation on a 450 at the upcoming Anaheim One event, Deegan has yet to confirm this decision.
In a conversation with reporter Lewis Phillips, Deegan stated, “Uh, I don’t know, I don’t know. We got some time to think about that one. But as of now, it’s 250.” Despite his uncertainty regarding future races, he feels optimistic about his current performance on the 450, despite limited preparation time due to a collarbone injury. “I’m in a really good spot right now how fast I’ve been on the bike,” he said. He acknowledged that he only resumed training a few weeks ago to allow his shoulder to heal, noting, “It still is a little sore. So we’re quick into it and we’re just gonna go for it.”
Deegan’s performance in Argentina and future events in Australia will be crucial in determining whether he will take on rivals like Jett Lawrence at Anaheim One. Fans and enthusiasts alike are hopeful that he will rise to the occasion and showcase his talent as he transitions to more powerful bikes in his racing career.
