Marvel Rivals is set to introduce Deadpool as its most anticipated character in Season 6, titled “Night at the Museum,” which launches on January 16, 2026. The latest installment brings exciting new features alongside detailed insights from the developers in their Dev Vision Vol. 13.

In an unexpected twist, the beloved anti-hero Deadpool takes the center stage in the dev diary, humorously stepping into the role of narrator. He addressed previous feedback regarding a lack of Vanguard and Strategist characters in the game, presenting himself as the versatile solution. Deadpool will be able to take on three distinct roles: Duelist, Vanguard, and Strategist, allowing players the flexibility to choose their preferred play style.

Equipped with Dual Pistols and Dual Katanas, Deadpool excels as a Duelist, capable of engaging foes both at a distance and up close. As a Vanguard, he wields a unicorn plushie that provides shields to allies, combining whimsy with tactical defense. In his Strategist role, he has the unique ability to heal allies by shooting them with his weapons while also inflicting damage on enemies.

One of the standout features of Deadpool in Marvel Rivals is his ability to level up during battles, progressing toward becoming a “true server admin,” dependent on the player’s chosen role. Additionally, his ultimate ability charges more rapidly based on the player’s fighting style, encouraging creativity during combat. The interaction with other players is also enhanced, as Deadpool’s buffs will vary depending on their responses to his in-game questions.

The introduction of Deadpool in Season 6 is poised to enrich gameplay and provide players with varied strategies, making for a more dynamic experience. Fans of the game can look forward to exploring these new capabilities and strategies when Marvel Rivals launches its latest season.
