On the feast day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, David Bisbal shared his deep devotion to her, revealing how she helped him cope during one of the most challenging periods of his life while he was in Mexico. During his visit to her shrine, he found comfort and faith that his heart would find peace, and he believes it did.
“Two years ago, I went to see the Virgin of Guadalupe. Honestly, I was going through a tough time; I had lost a friend of mine. That day, I hoped to find some solace from the Virgin. When I woke up, my friend had gone to heaven. The following day, I had to perform alongside many colleagues on La Voz, and I don’t know how I managed to sing, especially since I had to sing songs like ‘Esta Ausencia’. However, I remember that while the sky was cloudy, three beams of light shone down, and it helped me a lot,” he shared.
The singer also presented his album “Todo es Posible en Navidad,” which features classic songs such as “El Burrito Sabanero” and “Los Peces en el río,” among others.
“This is a tribute to such an important celebration, and at the same time, to all those countries that have supported and embraced me warmly. This is my way of giving thanks — Merry Christmas!” he stated.
