On the Feast Day of the Virgin of Guadalupe, David Bisbal shared his deep devotion to her, recounting how she supported him during one of the most challenging times in his life while he was in Mexico. Two years ago, he turned to the Virgin for solace after the loss of a friend and found peace in her presence.
“I visited the Virgin of Guadalupe two years ago during a difficult time in my life, as I had just lost a friend. That day, I sought her help. When I woke up, my friend had passed on to heaven. The following day, I had to sing with a number of colleagues on La Voz, and I was unsure how I managed to sing, especially songs like ‘Esta Ausencia.’ However, I remember that the sky was overcast, yet three immense beams of light broke through, and it helped me greatly,” he expressed.
In addition to sharing his personal story, Bisbal presented his latest album titled “Todo es Posible en Navidad,” featuring classic tracks such as “El Burrito Sabanero” and “Los Peces en el río,” among others.
“This album is a tribute to this important celebration and a gesture of gratitude to the countries that have supported and embraced me. So, in this way, I want to say thank you and wish everyone a Merry Christmas!” he added.
