During an appearance on NBC’s “Today,” the 65-year-old actor and comedian discussed his experience with the illness, detailing the symptoms that led to his diagnosis.
Coulier, who hails from St. Clair Shores, Michigan, first noticed a significant change in his health last October when he discovered a large lump in his groin following a cold. He described the moment as alarming, thinking, “Wow, I’m either really sick, or my body’s really reacting to something.”
After undergoing a series of tests and a biopsy of the lymph node, Coulier received the challenging news from his doctors: he has non-Hodgkin lymphoma, specifically B-cell lymphoma. The news was unexpected and shocking for the beloved star.
Coulier shared that he is currently undergoing an intensive treatment plan, consisting of six rounds of chemotherapy scheduled every 21 days, with an expected completion date in February 2025.
