Dancing with the Stars has revealed its impressive lineup for the upcoming 33rd season of the popular reality competition series. The cast features a mix of notable personalities, including Olympic athlete Stephen Nedoroscik, Bachelor Nation favorites Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran, as well as infamous “fake heiress” Anna Delvey.
Host Julianne Hough expressed her hopes for a dream contestant, suggesting that Chris Hemsworth, who won the Australian version of the show, should participate in the American edition. “If you’re going to truly claim being the Dancing with the Stars champ, you need to do the American one,” she remarked during the Disney Upfront event in May. Hough playfully pondered if she could dance while hosting, saying, “I would come back and dance for that.”
As for what audiences can look forward to this season, Hough indicated that fans should prepare for a blend of nostalgia and exciting surprises. “We already have such a tight family that anybody who comes in, hopefully they feel supported and excited,” she added.
Hough, a two-time champion of the show, reflected on its enduring appeal across generations. She noted, “It’s multigenerational. You can watch it with your kids and your grandparents and your parents and bring the friends over.” Hough emphasized that while the show is competitive, it also fosters a spirit of support among contestants, which is especially needed in today’s world.
