“Dancing with the Stars” has unveiled its cast for the upcoming season 33, promising an exciting lineup. Since its inception in 2005, the show has captivated audiences by pairing celebrities with professional dancers, who train them to compete in dance-offs judged by a panel of experts.
This new season will feature a diverse group of participants, including actors, athletes, and even a notable con artist, alongside a Texas athlete.
Among the 13 celebrity contestants is former NFL player Danny Amendola. The 38-year-old athlete played college football for Texas Tech and entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2008. His career continued with various teams, including the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and finally the Houston Texans, before he announced his retirement from professional football in 2022.
The full cast for season 33 includes a mix of familiar faces: convicted con artist Anna Delvey paired with new pro dancer Ezra Sosa, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Brooks Nader with pro dancer Gleb Savchenko, actress Chandler Kinney with pro dancer Brandon Armstrong, and more. Other participants include former NBA star Dwight Howard, actor Eric Roberts, Olympian Ilona Maher, and actress Tori Spelling, among others.
Judging the competition will be Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough, while hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return to guide viewers through the exciting performances.
