The Daily Show is currently gearing up for an exciting conclusion to its 30th season, with a fresh approach in its final two weeks. Comedy Central announced that the show will embrace a rotation of five correspondent-hosts from Tuesday to Thursday, while Jon Stewart will continue to helm the show on Mondays.
This week’s rotation begins with Desi Lydic, Josh Johnson, and Jordan Klepper taking over hosting duties. Although the complete lineup for next week has not yet been disclosed, viewers can likely anticipate the return of Ronny Chieng and Michael Kosta.
Stewart is set to kick off tonight’s episode with guest Elizabeth Kolbert, the esteemed Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist, who will discuss her new book, Life on a Little-Known Planet, which addresses climate change through her writings in The New Yorker.
Looking ahead, Lydic will host actress and philanthropist Nikki DeLoach on Tuesday, who is known for her role in the upcoming Hallmark film, A Grand Ole Opry Christmas. On Wednesday, Johnson will welcome renowned magician and mentalist Asi Wind, while Klepper’s guest for Thursday remains a mystery.
The Season 30 finale of The Daily Show is slated for next Thursday, December 11. Fans can look forward to the show’s return on January 5, with Stewart and the entire news team reportedly signed on for an extended run through the end of 2026.
