A new scandal erupted this Friday at the Chateau Libertador, where Wanda Nara resides with her daughters Isabella and Francesca Icardi. The controversy arises after a court ruling stated that the minors, children of Nara and footballer Mauro Icardi, were to spend seven days with their father before he returned to Turkey to play for Galatasaray.
However, when Icardi arrived at his ex-wife’s apartment in Buenos Aires to pick up the girls, reports suggest they were reluctant to leave with him. Contrary to some claims that Wanda was unwilling to let them go, TV host Ángel de Brito revealed another narrative. According to him, the girls expressed to social worker Fernanda Mattera from the Ministry of Public Guardianship that they did not want to go with their father.
De Brito noted that the elder daughter, Isabelle, was particularly resistant, while Francesca was seen crying. He recounted that Francesca felt uncomfortable with the situation, revealing that during a previous gathering, she had to hide to make a video call to Mattera and was reportedly pressured to say they were alone with their dad, despite the presence of several people, including Icardi’s associates.
This scenario mirrors an incident from late April when Icardi had another troubling encounter with his daughters, described as a “scandal” after he allegedly violated a court order. During that visit, Francesca expressed to Mattera her discomfort, stating, “I don’t feel that this is my house because La China’s hairdresser sleeps in my bed, I don’t want to be around all those people.”
The social worker reportedly spent an hour and a half trying to persuade the girls to go with Icardi, but to no avail. Eventually, when highlighted to the court that the arrangement could not be fulfilled, the judge was informed of the children’s wishes not to go.
As for Wanda, reports indicated she had intended to travel to Miami with Telefe to cover the Club World Cup but had to cancel her plans due to these ongoing developments.
Legal representatives for Icardi voiced concerns about Wanda’s reluctance to permit the girls to see their father, emphasizing that while the youngest daughter was particularly fearful of the situation, the older sibling was more confident.
