The Golden State Warriors have yet to make any moves during the early stages of the 2025 NBA offseason, but that could change soon as the franchise seeks to bolster the roster around their iconic guard, Stephen Curry. The four-time NBA champion and 2022 Finals MVP had another impressive season, averaging 24.5 points and 6.0 assists with an exceptional 61.8% true shooting percentage in his 16th year in the league.
Heading into his 38th year, Curry remains one of the top point guards and the Warriors are keen on providing him with consistent outside shooting options. General Manager Mike Dunleavy may look to enhance the lineup by considering the addition of Seth Curry, Stephen’s brother and an unrestricted free agent. According to a recent interview, Seth expressed a desire to reconnect with the Warriors, indicating that he has long felt a part of the organization while supporting Stephen.
“I feel like I’ve been a part of Dub Nation for a while,” said Seth. He acknowledged the potential benefits of his joining the team, highlighting the optimism surrounding it. “Steph would love me to come over there and play with them… you never know what could happen.”
If Seth were to join Golden State, it would not only reunite the Curry brothers, but it would also pair two of the greatest three-point shooters in NBA history. In the previous season with the Charlotte Hornets, Seth posted a league-best three-point shooting percentage of 45.6%, alongside averages of 6.5 points and 1.7 rebounds. Stephen’s tenure with the Warriors further solidifies their legacy as sharpshooters, ranking him seventh in NBA history for career three-point shooting percentage at 43.3%.
At 34 years old, Seth’s potential arrival could enhance Golden State’s bench rotation, particularly given his postseason prowess—he has notably raised his playoff three-point shooting percentage to an impressive 46.8%, placing him fifth on the all-time list.
The combination of the Curry brothers could bring renewed energy and skill to the Warriors’ roster, representing a hopeful prospect for fans looking forward to the upcoming season.
