Naper Bites host Chris Grano shared his perspective, saying, “Being a dad in Naperville can’t just revolve around soccer games and PTL meetings. Sometimes, I yearn for a night out. The scene along Route 59 is thriving, centered around an amazing venue. At The Matrix Club, you can find a variety of performing arts including theater, dance, and visual art.”
Executive Chef Alsonso Beckford emphasized their aim to showcase cultural diversity through their menu, starting with an array of small plates featuring options such as samosas and Korean fried chicken.
The fusion cuisine shines with dishes like sweet corn and poblano ravioli. Beckford explained, “It’s a twist on an elote, where I blend all the flavors to enhance the corn essence in the ravioli.”
The delightful culinary journey continues with desserts, including the exquisite white chocolate and raspberry bread pudding. “Our bread pudding is crafted with white chocolate, topped with white chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce, complemented by fresh raspberries and whipped cream. We even make the brioche bread in-house,” Beckford added.
