The Chicago Cubs have made a significant trade, acquiring All-Star outfielder Kyle Tucker from the Houston Astros. In exchange, the Cubs are sending third baseman Isaac Paredes, right-handed pitcher Hayden Wesneski, and promising infield prospect Cam Smith to the Astros. Tucker, who is set to become a free agent after the 2025 season, had his 2023 season limited to 78 games due to a fractured right shin. In the 2023 season, Tucker showcased his talent by hitting .284 with 29 home runs, leading the American League with 112 RBIs and stealing 30 bases.
