Crowne Plaza Fiji Reveals Five Leadership Appointments Ahead of November Convention Center Launch

Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa has taken a significant step in enhancing its leadership team by announcing five key appointments aimed at reinforcing its reputation for world-class hospitality. The newly appointed leaders are set to play vital roles in driving the resort’s strategic vision as it positions itself as a premier destination in the Pacific.

Regina Wilson has been appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing. With an extensive career spanning over three decades, Wilson brings significant experience in hospitality leadership gained from her work across Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Fiji. Previously, she served as the market director of Sales & Marketing for Marriott International Fiji and as the director of Sales and Marketing at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay. In her new role, Wilson will spearhead sales and marketing initiatives to promote the Crowne Plaza as a sought-after destination.

Anand Ravi takes on the role of Director of Food and Beverage, coming with over 24 years of experience in culinary operations and management, having previously held senior positions in major hotel chains including Marriott and Accor. His focus will be on refining the resort’s dining and event experiences for guests.

Amlesh Kumar has been appointed as the Director of Events Planning. A skilled professional in event management, Kumar will oversee all events at the resort, including corporate meetings and weddings, and is set to play a pivotal role in launching a new convention center and ballroom, enhancing the resort’s offerings to cater to business and corporate events.

Ajit Mishra joins as the Rooms Division Manager, where he will manage front office operations and guest services. Lastly, Shankar Makam, the new Chief Engineer, brings over a decade of expertise in engineering and facilities management within the hospitality sector, ensuring that the resort maintains the highest standards of safety and efficiency for both guests and staff.

Sudhir Yadav, the General Manager of Crowne Plaza Fiji, expressed enthusiasm about the new appointments, stating, “This experienced leadership team brings the expertise and vision necessary to fully realize the potential of these facilities.” He added that with the launch of the new convention center and ballroom set for November, the resort is ready to reach new heights.
