As we transition deeper into fall, there’s a notable shift in the weather patterns. Following a period of milder temperatures, cooler days are on the horizon.

Heading into Tuesday morning, cloud cover will prevent temperatures from dropping significantly, keeping lows in the mid to upper 50s. However, the days ahead will bring changes. On Tuesday, most regions will experience highs in the upper 70s. Fortunately, humidity levels will remain low, offering a refreshing feel under bright skies with occasional thin cloud cover.

Wednesday marks the onset of cooler weather. Expect a noticeable dip in morning lows to the chilly low 40s, while afternoon highs will only reach the low 60s. A breeze will add a brisk feel to the day, though the sun will shine vividly and the air will remain exceptionally dry.

By Thursday morning, temperatures will take a steep plunge, with lows dropping to the mid to upper 30s. Despite this, afternoon highs will hover near 60 degrees. While the sunshine will provide some warmth, the day will feel decidedly crisp.

The trend continues Friday morning as temperatures dip further into the mid to upper 30s. Fortunately, sunshine will help daytime highs recover nicely to the upper 60s to low 70s, creating a pleasant day.

Interestingly, as the weekend approaches, the temperature pendulum swings back. Saturday through Monday will see a return to brighter, warmer conditions, with highs in the low 80s.

Saturday holds special significance with the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Boston. Participants can anticipate a rolling start between 8-10 a.m. with temperatures ranging comfortably in the 50s and 60s, making for a pleasant morning.
