Musician Tommy Lee and his wife, Brittany Furlan, recently experienced a frightening incident at their San Fernando Valley home when a coyote attempted to abduct their dog.
In a video shared by Furlan, their two dogs were spotted playing by the backyard pool when a coyote suddenly appeared and seized Neena, their 10-year-old long-haired English cream dachshund. The coyote attempted to escape by jumping over a 10-foot wall, but Furlan quickly sprang into action and chased it down.
Furlan successfully scaled the wall and managed to retrieve Neena from the coyote’s jaws. She expressed her relief, stating, “Neena is safe… Thank God she’s a little bit fat because he couldn’t make it over the wall with her.”
Tommy Lee was inside the house during the incident and rushed out upon hearing Furlan’s cries, only to find that she had already rescued their pet. The coyote fled the scene.
Furlan, who is known for her work as an actress and comedian, revealed that they had never seen a coyote in their backyard before. She chose to post the alarming video on her Instagram account to raise awareness among her followers, encouraging them to keep an eye out for potential dangers to their pets.
