His representative confirmed that they are simply good friends with a long-standing connection, stating, “They are great friends and co-stars.”
Kinnear has been married to British model Helen Labdon since 1999, with whom he has three daughters aged 23, 20, and 17. Meanwhile, Cox has been in a relationship with Snow Patrol frontman Johnny McDaid since 2013, which coincided with her divorce from actor David Arquette, father of her 21-year-old daughter Coco Arquette. The couple was last seen together at the US Open in September.
The friendship and professional collaboration between Cox and Kinnear extend back to their time on Shining Vale, which aired for two seasons from 2022 to 2023 before its cancellation.
