The highly anticipated next release in the Call of Duty franchise is on the verge of launching.
Gamers are just hours away from diving into the newest edition of the first-person shooter, co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, titled Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The excitement surrounding this installment has led gaming media to conduct countdowns for its debut across various time zones.
For players in Tennessee, here’s when you can start playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox, and PlayStation.
The official release date for Call of Duty: BO6 is Friday, October 25. However, the timing of access varies based on your region and platform.
For Tennessee users on Steam and Battle.net, access timing is contingent upon your account’s time zone. Central Time players will be able to start at 11 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, while players in the Eastern Time zone will need to wait until midnight.
Console players using the Microsoft Store, as well as Xbox and PlayStation users throughout the state, will be granted access at midnight local time on Friday, October 25.
As for the gameplay experience in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, players are immersed in the Gulf War and follow Black Ops 6 teams that have been exiled due to “the shadowy clandestine force that has infiltrated the highest levels of the CIA,” according to the game’s official site.
Fans of the Call of Duty series will find the gameplay familiar to past entries, with new features like omnidirectional movement and customizable Intelligent Movement settings.
