Kevin Costner is making a much-anticipated return to Fox Nation with a new three-part docuseries titled “Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner.” This upcoming project serves as a sequel to his previous endeavor, “Yellowstone One Fifty,” which aired in 2022.
In this fresh docuseries, the Oscar-winning actor will embark on a journey to retrace the famous 1903 Yosemite expedition led by President Teddy Roosevelt and environmental champion John Muir, exploring the majestic landscapes of the American West. The series is set to premiere its first episode on February 8, aligning with Fox Nation’s “America 250” campaign, celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States.
Costner expressed his enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the remarkable and transformative nature of the story between Roosevelt and Muir. He stated, “Once in a while, you come across a story that has that truly special mix of elements; it’s stranger than fiction and happens against all odds. It results in something that legitimately changes the world for the good and, most importantly, it all really happened.”
Lauren Petterson, President of Fox Nation, praised Costner’s storytelling prowess, saying he embodies the spirit of “America 250” and has a unique ability to engage audiences through his narrative style.
Beyond this series, Costner remains busy in the film world, having recently worked on his original western films “Horizon: An American Saga,” with part one released last year. Part two is anticipated to premiere at the Santa Barbara Film Festival next month.
This new series not only highlights an iconic journey in American history but also continues to reflect Costner’s deep connection to storytelling rooted in the American experience. As the country prepares for a significant anniversary, “Yellowstone to Yosemite” promises to resonate with viewers who appreciate the intertwining of history, nature, and legacy.
