Telespazio has announced a partnership to enhance satellite connectivity in Patagonia, Argentina. Collaborating with Altec, a local provider of technology and communications solutions, Telespazio aims to deliver Starlink satellite internet to schools and municipal offices in the province of Río Negro. The initiative was revealed on September 9.
The project will initially focus on installing equipment in select schools and government facilities, with intentions to broaden its reach to additional institutions in the upcoming months. The integration of Starlink will empower users to engage with online educational platforms, connect with other organizations, and access a range of digital services vital for their growth and efficiency.
This collaborative effort is set to link numerous educational and government centers, fostering digital advancement and tech inclusivity in Río Negro. The initiative seeks to enhance connectivity and digital resource availability in the province’s remote and rural areas.
