Community Mourns the Loss of Beloved Teen Anna Grace Phelan

Evans Funeral Home in Jefferson, Georgia has announced the passing of Miss Anna Grace Phelan, a 19-year-old resident of Jefferson, who died on May 23, 2025. Born on October 12, 2005, in Orlando, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of William Harper Phelan III and Nadine Elizabeth Turner Phelan. A graduate of Jefferson High School in 2024, Anna worked as a receptionist at Georgia Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Dermatology and was deeply involved in her church community, being an active member of Galilee Christian Church where she participated in various youth activities, including Church Camp.

Anna is survived by her parents and her brother, Harper David Phelan, along with her maternal grandparents, David Duane Turner and Robin Lee Catalino Turner, and paternal grandparents, William Harper Phelan Jr. and Stephanie Lynn Yancey Phelan. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins also mourn her loss.

A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Galilee Christian Church, led by Minister Nick Vipperman. The burial will take place in the church cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial contributions to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation through their website. For those who cannot attend in person, the service will be livestreamed on the church’s YouTube channel.
