The Commanders showed their readiness on a short week, dominating the game after initially giving up a touchdown on the Cardinals’ first drive. Quarterback Jayden Daniels exhibited exceptional skill, completing 26 of 30 passes for 233 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, alongside 47 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown.
The running back duo of Brian Robinson and Jeremy McNichols was also pivotal, combining for 169 rushing yards and three touchdowns, with McNichols scoring twice. The receiving corps, featuring Terry McLaurin and Olamide Zaccheaus, contributed significantly, recording 13 receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown by McLaurin.
