INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts have officially wrapped up their 2025 season, marking another year without a trip to the playoffs, which makes it five consecutive seasons. As part of the annual award tradition, several standout players have been recognized for their exceptional performances throughout the year.

Starting with the Most Valuable Player award, Daniel Jones has been named for his impactful contributions when healthy. While Jonathan Taylor initially had a strong start to the season, his performance dropped off significantly as the year progressed. Jones’ ability to lead the team and make a difference on the field has earned him this accolade.

Alec Pierce has been honored as the Offensive Player of the Year. In his contract year, Pierce made a significant impact with his performance. Despite missing two games, he recorded an impressive 1,003 receiving yards with an exceptional average of 21.3 yards per catch, making him the first NFL wide receiver since DeSean Jackson in 2010 to surpass 1,000 yards on fewer than 50 receptions.

On the defensive side, Cam Bynum has earned the Defensive Player of the Year award. His knack for creating turnovers and stabilizing the defense was crucial for the team, especially given that other key players like DeForest Buckner and Charvarius Ward weren’t consistently available. Although Laiatu Latu had a promising season with 8.5 sacks, Bynum’s overall influence on the field secured him this honor.

The Rookie of the Year accolade goes to Tyler Warren, who had an impressive debut season. With 76 receptions for 817 yards and 4 touchdowns, Warren delivered one of the best rookie campaigns for a tight end. However, his performance tapered off towards the end of the season despite a strong start.

Lastly, the Breakout Player award has been given to Tanor Bortolini. The young center showed great promise in his first season as a starter, contributing to the offensive line’s stability. The Colts are hopeful that his growth will continue in the upcoming seasons, along with showcasing the potential of fellow rookie Adetomiwa Adebawore, who has also made strides as a rotational interior rusher.

As the Colts look ahead, these awards highlight the progress and potential within the team, setting a foundation for future improvement and success.
