Colgate-Palmolive Fiji has forged a significant three-year partnership with Damodar City Suva and Labasa, aimed at revitalizing the annual Christmas Tree Lighting events and marking the celebration’s inaugural expansion into the Northern Division. This collaboration, announced during a media signing event in Suva, will see Colgate-Palmolive Fiji as the official partner for these joyous festivities from 2025 through 2027.
Building on the successes of last year’s initiatives, this agreement stands as one of the most enduring corporate commitments to Fiji’s holiday celebrations. Jyotika Devi, Marketing Manager for Colgate-Palmolive Fiji, emphasized that this partnership seeks to enhance community unity and foster a festive atmosphere, while simultaneously strengthening the company’s outreach in both the Central and Northern divisions of the country.
The tree lighting events are set to offer a variety of family-friendly activities, including giveaways and entertainment, creating an inclusive environment for all attendees. Additionally, the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation has been appointed as the official media partner for this series of events, further amplifying community engagement and visibility.
The first tree lighting ceremony will occur later this month in Damodar City Suva, soon followed by another in Labasa. Such initiatives not only bring holiday cheer but also reinforce a sense of community, illustrating the positive influence of corporate responsibility during the festive season.
Drawing from previous successful events, this partnership underscores the joy and togetherness that holiday celebrations foster within the regions they touch. With Colgate-Palmolive’s dedication to amplifying the festive spirit in Fiji, there is a growing excitement for an unforgettable holiday season ahead.
