Coldplay’s World Tour Expands: What to Know!

Coldplay is set to extend their Music of the Spheres world tour to North America next summer. This follows the recent release of their new album, Moon Music, which pays homage to another celestial body. The band will perform at several stadiums across the United States and hold two concerts in Toronto.

Tickets for the general public will be available starting at noon local time on Friday, with presales beginning at 9 a.m. for early registrants. Full ticketing details can be found on Ticketmaster’s Coldplay page.

In an exciting initiative, the group is introducing “Infinity Tickets” that will allow fans to attend their shows for just $20, with these tickets going on sale at noon local time on November 22.

The Music of the Spheres tour, which began in 2022, follows the 2021 release of their album Music of the Spheres, subtitled Vol. I: From Earth with Love. Their latest album, Moon Music, is formally titled Music of the Spheres Vol. II: Moon Music, suggesting there could be more albums in the pipeline.

Coldplay aims to minimize their environmental impact during the tour, reporting a 59 percent reduction in CO2e emissions compared to their tours in 2016 and 2017. The band claims to have planted over 9 million trees globally as part of their sustainability efforts, which are detailed on their website. Additionally, physical copies of the Moon Music album are produced from recycled plastic bottles.

In a recent interview, frontman Chris Martin expressed gratitude for the song “All My Love” from Moon Music, stating that the band does not plan to release more singles. He highlighted the song’s significance in expressing their feelings toward life, the world, and their audience.
