British rock band Coldplay is set to perform at the Sun Bowl in El Paso on June 13, 2025, as part of their Music of The Spheres World Tour. This concert will mark the band’s only performance in Texas during their North American tour slated for May through July 2025.
Jorge Vasquez, UTEP’s Executive Director of Special Events, shared details on how the university is preparing for the event, focusing on ticketing, Wi-Fi access, and concessions. He expressed optimism about the economic benefits the concert will bring, anticipating attendance from visitors across Texas and the surrounding region.
Vasquez highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance the Sun Bowl’s infrastructure to attract more high-caliber artists, despite a university bond proposal not appearing on the ballot. He is committed to upgrading the facility to meet these goals and has implemented technological improvements, including new scanners from Ticketmaster, to expedite guest entry.
To facilitate a smoother process for concertgoers, Vasquez advised attendees to download their tickets in advance and plan accordingly. UTEP is also introducing new initiatives aimed at improving the concessions experience for guests during the concert.
Live Nation has announced that fans can register for the Artist Presale starting immediately and running until October 10 at 10 a.m. ET, granting them early access to tickets. The Artist Presale will officially commence on October 11 at 9 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales launching later that same day at 12 p.m. local time through Ticketmaster.
