British rock band Coldplay is set to perform at the Sun Bowl in El Paso next summer, as announced by the UTEP Special Events Office and Live Nation. The concert will be part of their Music of The Spheres World Tour, taking place in North America during May, June, and July 2025. El Paso will host the band on June 13, marking it as their only concert in Texas.
UTEP’s Executive Director of Special Events, Jorge Vasquez, discussed preparations for the event, including improvements in ticketing, wifi service, and food concessions. He highlighted the expected influx of visitors from across Texas and emphasized the positive economic impact of the concert. Vasquez mentioned ongoing efforts to enhance the venue’s infrastructure despite a bond proposal not being on the ballot, aiming to attract more prominent artists to the Sun Bowl.
To facilitate quicker entry at the event, UTEP has invested in Ticketmaster scanners for faster processing and is exploring new technologies for better fan experiences. Vasquez advised attendees to download their tickets in advance to expedite their entrance and plan accordingly.
Fans can currently register for the Artist Presale through October 10 at 10 a.m. ET for priority access to tickets. The artist presale launches on October 11 at 9 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales starting later that day at 12 p.m. local time on ticketmaster.com. Additionally, Coldplay will make a limited number of Infinity Tickets available on November 22, priced at USD 20/20 CAD each. These tickets aim to keep the event accessible and are limited to two per person, to be purchased in pairs.
The tour will also include stops in several major cities, including Stanford, Las Vegas, Denver, Toronto, Foxborough, Madison, Nashville, and Miami throughout the summer months.
