Coldplay, the renowned British rock band, will perform at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas, on June 13, 2025, as part of their Music of The Spheres World Tour, as announced by the UTEP Special Events Office and Live Nation. This concert marks El Paso as the only city in Texas on their North American tour, which spans May, June, and July of 2025.
Jorge Vasquez, UTEP’s Executive Director of Special Events, outlined the preparations for the concert, which include enhanced ticketing processes, improved wifi access, and upgraded concession options. He expressed anticipation of attracting visitors from across Texas and the surrounding regions, highlighting the significant economic benefits expected from the event.
Despite a proposed bond for improvements that won’t go to a vote, Vasquez emphasized UTEP’s commitment to upgrading the Sun Bowl to attract more high-profile artists. New scanners from Ticketmaster will facilitate quicker entry for concertgoers, along with other technological enhancements being implemented to streamline access.
Vasquez advised attendees to download their tickets before arriving to ensure faster entry and encouraged planning ahead for the event. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to enhance concession offerings specifically for this concert.
Fans can currently sign up for the Artist Presale for ticket access until October 10 at 10 a.m. ET. The artist presale will officially start on October 11 at 9 a.m. local time, followed by the general on-sale at 12 p.m. the same day on ticketmaster.com. Additionally, Coldplay will offer a limited number of Infinity Tickets starting November 22 at noon local time, priced affordably at USD 20/20 CAD, with a restriction of two tickets purchased per transaction.
The planned tour schedule includes stops in cities such as Stanford, Las Vegas, and Denver prior to the El Paso concert, followed by performances in Toronto, Foxborough, Madison, Nashville, and Miami.
