Coachella 2025 is set to be an exciting event as Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott are scheduled to headline the festival. Notably, Travis Scott will introduce an immersive experience titled “CatcusCon,” which is being described as a unique design concept for the desert festival. His performance will follow Green Day’s set on the Saturday evenings.
This will mark a significant return for Scott, whose previous headline appearance was thwarted when the 2020 festival was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was initially included in the 2022 lineup but was removed after the tragic crowd crush at his Astroworld festival in 2021.
Lady Gaga will be headlining Coachella for the second time; she previously stepped in for Beyoncé in 2017 after the latter’s performance was postponed due to her pregnancy.
Post Malone, a frequent performer at Coachella, will be headlining for the first time, while Green Day will also be making their Coachella debut, despite frontman Billie Joe Armstrong having previously joined the Replacements on stage in 2014.
Green Day’s Armstrong expressed the enduring power of rock music, stating, “Death, taxes, and rock’n’roll… its spirit is needed now more than ever.”
In addition to the main headliners, a diverse lineup of performers will grace the stages, including Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, Missy Elliott, and K-pop group Enhypen, among others. Blackpink members Jennie and Lisa will also perform separately after making history together as the first Asian and all-female act to headline the festival last year.
Despite seeing its slowest ticket sales in a decade during the previous year, Coachella will once again take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, over two weekends in April: April 11-13 and April 18-20.
