The Country Music Association has unveiled an exciting initial lineup for the upcoming CMA Awards, with leading nominees Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Ella Langley, each boasting six nominations, set to perform at the prestigious event. Close contender Zach Top, nominated five times, will also take to the stage.
The star-studded list of performers announced includes Shaboozey, BigXthaPlug, Luke Combs, Tucker Wetmore, and Stephen Wilson, all slated to showcase their talents at the CMAs, which are just around the corner on November 19.
Among the highlights, Langley will perform her freshly released single “Choosin’ Texas,” while Moroney is scheduled to present her latest track “6 Months Later,” which debuted in June as a precursor to her upcoming album expected in early 2026. Top will thrill the audience with his performance of “Guitar,” and Wetmore, a nominee for new artist of the year, will deliver his poignant song “Wind Up Missin’ You.”
Stephen Wilson Jr., another new artist nominee, has an ambitious night ahead as he performs twice. He’ll share his rendition of the classic “Stand By Me” and join Shaboozey for a duet titled “Took a Walk” from the recent film “The Long Walk.” Additionally, BigXthaPlug will collaborate with Luke Combs to perform their heartfelt track “Pray Hard.”
As anticipation builds, the CMA Awards promise more surprises, with additional performers to be announced in the coming weeks. Notably, Wilson not only leads in nominations and performs but also takes on the role of host for this year’s three-hour telecast. He steps into the spotlight after contributing to the event as a co-host last year alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.
The 59th annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 19 at 8 p.m. ET and will be available for streaming the following day on Hulu.
