The Topsfield Fair is gearing up to celebrate its 207th year, featuring a host of attractions including the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Fairgoers can look forward to seeing these majestic horses as they warm up in the arena and parade around the fairgrounds twice daily, offering a close-up experience for all attendees.

General Manager Jim O’Brien highlighted the anticipated success of the event, noting, “It’s going to be a great fair. We’re looking at great weather, we’re looking at an exciting opportunity this year.” As the 30th largest fair in the nation, the Topsfield Fair is noted for its family-friendly approach, with an emphasis on events and entertainment catered to families. “We focus on events and entertainment that works with families; we’re more family-oriented than most fairs,” O’Brien said.

Attendees can participate in various activities, from the giant pumpkin weigh-off to the New England Premier Flower Show. The fair will host 100 food vendors and 200 additional vendors, bringing in hundreds of thousands of visitors and generating substantial economic benefits for the local community. O’Brien pointed out that many visitors come from afar and often stay overnight, adding to the fair’s positive impact on local revenue.

The fair runs from October 3rd through October 13th, promising an exciting lineup of attractions for all ages. Whether the draw is the Clydesdales, food, or rides, there is something for everyone to enjoy at this annual celebration.
