Former President Bill Clinton has been released from a Washington hospital following treatment for the flu. He was admitted on Monday after experiencing a fever, but his deputy chief of staff, Angel Urena, announced that he is now home in time for the Christmas holiday.

Urena expressed gratitude for the skilled care provided by the medical team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and noted that Clinton is appreciative of the kind messages and well wishes he received during his stay. As a gesture of goodwill, the former president is sending his heartfelt wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season to everyone.

At 78 years old, Clinton served as president for two terms from January 1993 to January 2001. He recently participated in the Democratic National Convention this past summer and was actively involved in campaigning for Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the fall.

In addition to his political engagements, Clinton has also released his latest memoir titled “Citizen,” which reflects on his life after leaving the presidency and highlights his philanthropic efforts.

This recent health challenge serves as a reminder of the importance of taking care of oneself, especially during the cold and flu season. It’s encouraging to see Clinton recovering and returning home, ready to celebrate the holidays with his family.
