Todd and Julie Chrisley, former stars of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” are set to make their first television appearance since being released from prison following a presidential pardon in May. The couple, convicted on charges of bank and tax fraud, will speak on “My View with Lara Trump” on the Fox News Channel at 9 p.m. ET on June 28.
Following their release, Todd Chrisley, who served a 12-year sentence, and Julie Chrisley, who served seven years, expressed their gratitude for the pardons granted by former President Donald Trump. At a press conference, Todd shared his emotional response to the pardon, while Julie described how she broke down in tears when she learned they would be free, noting the challenging environment of prison where good news is scarce.
Their children, Savannah and Grayson Chrisley, will also join them in the interview. Savannah has previously appeared on Lara Trump’s show and has been publicly supportive of Donald Trump’s presidency, including speaking at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
The family’s rise to fame came from their popular show, which captured their lavish lifestyle and family dynamics over ten seasons, concluding in 2023 following their convictions for fraud involving over $30 million.
The Chrisleys’ lawyer stated that the pardons correct a “deep injustice” and restore the couple to their family and community, asserting that they were unfairly targeted due to their conservative beliefs.
As they prepare to discuss their experiences and future plans on air, the Chrisleys appear poised to regain their footing in the public eye and reconnect with their supporters.
This upcoming interview offers a significant moment of redemption for the family, inviting discussion about their journey, resilience, and the impact of their circumstances on their lives moving forward.
