Chris Noth recently shared that he and Sarah Jessica Parker are no longer on friendly terms due to her response to the sexual assault allegations made against him in 2021. The 71-year-old actor discussed his feelings during an appearance on the “Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson” podcast, where he revealed that Parker did not reach out to him for his side of the story before publicly supporting his accusers.

In 2021, Noth faced allegations from three women, all of which he has denied. Following the allegations, Parker, along with her “Sex and the City” castmates Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, issued a joint statement expressing their support for the women who came forward. They stated, “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth… and we commend them for it.” Noth, however, found the statement disappointing and felt it was more about managing their image than showing genuine concern.

Noth expressed his feelings about Parker’s public stance, saying, “It was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising,” and noted that he would have expected her to contact him before making such a statement public. He reflected on their long history together, emphasizing that a simple phone call could have made a difference.

Since leaving “Sex and the City,” where he portrayed Mr. Big, Noth returned in the sequel series “And Just Like That,” but his character was killed off shortly after. He admitted that the unfolding events revealed who his true friends were, asserting, “I just know if it had been on the other hand, I wouldn’t have done that.”

In a recent turn of events, Noth posted an ambiguous social media comment that seemed to target Parker, prompting a response from fans referencing Parker’s recent award. Although he clarified later that his comments were meant to be sarcastic and not taken seriously, his words ignited further discussions among “SATC” enthusiasts.

Moreover, Noth reiterated his denial of the sexual assault allegations and acknowledged his infidelity in his marriage to Tara Wilson, with whom he shares two children. He described his extramarital relationships as consensual, stating, “I strayed on my wife, and it’s devastating to her and not a very pretty picture. What it isn’t is a crime.”

The evolving dynamics between Noth and Parker underscore the complexities of personal relationships amidst public scrutiny. As both continue their careers, it remains to be seen how this situation will impact their legacies and future collaborations.
