China and Fiji have recently deepened their strategic partnership, celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations centered on mutual respect and collaboration. In a shared effort to enhance global governance, China supports President Xi Jinping’s Global Governance Initiative and Prime Minister Rabuka’s Ocean of Peace initiative, aiming to bolster multilateral cooperation. China’s commitment extends to supporting Fiji in critical sectors such as healthcare, education, and transportation, with plans to send medical teams, provide scholarships, and facilitate cultural exchanges.
