True love has drifted apart for “Love Island USA” stars Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene, as they have officially ended their relationship. Bissainthe shared this news during her appearance on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio on December 12.

When cohost Danny Murphy inquired about the couple’s potential plans to move in together, Bissainthe revealed that they had made the difficult decision to part ways. “It really was a tough decision for the both of us and very hard to decide,” she explained. “But when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go, so I think we just got to that decision.”

While the specific reasons behind their breakup were not disclosed, Bissainthe emphasized that their split stemmed from a “mutual level of respect and understanding.” She expressed that although they both wanted their relationship to work, circumstances sometimes dictate difficult choices, stating, “Couples go through things that are very challenging and sometimes the best thing to do is just make a decision that needs to be made.”

During their run on Season 7 of the hit Peacock series, Bissainthe and Greene came close to winning; however, they were eliminated in Week 5, just two days before Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales were crowned the champions. Reflecting on their experience, Bissainthe expressed gratitude for their time in the villa, noting, “I feel like my purpose here was fulfilled. I got what I was looking for, so I can’t be mad.” Greene shared similar sentiments, stating, “I feel like I came in here and conquered and did what I wanted to do, which was find a person, and Chelley was that comfort, that person who I feel like I could be myself around.”

As the reality TV world observes the couple’s breakup, fans continue to look forward to upcoming seasons of “Love Island USA,” showcasing the complexities of modern relationships and the growth that comes from them.
