“I only play Powerball when the jackpot gets up there, and the jackpot was over $1 billion, so I bought a ticket,” Carvey shared in a press release. She revealed that she asked ChatGPT, an AI developed by OpenAI, for a set of Powerball numbers, which she then played. “My husband and I were in total disbelief,” she added.

For an additional dollar, players can opt for the Power Play feature, which enhances non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times, with a maximum prize of $2 million. Additionally, the Double Play option, offered for another dollar per play, provides a second chance to win up to $10 million in a separate nightly drawing.
The Powerball drawing occurs at 10:59 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, with tickets available across 45 states, Washington D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
