Chappell Roan addressed a photographer with whom she had a past uncomfortable interaction during the red carpet event on Friday, October 25, at the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s film “Olivia Rodrigo: Guts World Tour,” set to stream on October 28. The “Good Luck, Babe!” singer-songwriter recognized the photographer, pointed at him, and approached directly.

“You were so disrespectful to me at the Grammys,” Roan stated, as shared in widely circulating clips on social media the following day. The photographer remained off-camera during the confrontation.

“You yelled at me at a Grammy party,” Roan continued, demonstrating her commitment to setting personal boundaries. “I remember. You were so rude to me. And I deserve an apology for that … You need to apologize to me.”

Roan, who has collaborated with Rodrigo and served as an opening act during her shows, has previously called out another photographer at the VMAs last month. After a photographer told her to “Shut the f— up,” Roan boldly retorted, “You shut the f— up,” while wagging her finger and adding, “Not me, b—-.”

During the same red carpet event, Olivia Rodrigo praised Roan in an interview, highlighting the support she provides. “She actually gives me so much advice on taking care of myself and being me in an industry that’s so overwhelming sometimes. I really appreciate her. If I give her any advice, I’m not so sure. But I get a lot from her.”

A clip of Roan’s encounter with the photographer can be seen below.
