Tulsa police are currently investigating a mass shooting incident that occurred in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, early Sunday morning. The initial events unfolded just after 10 p.m. when officers intervened to disperse a gathering of 50-100 individuals at a short-term rental located near 1300 S. Elwood.

Shortly thereafter, authorities received reports of another group of 50-60 teenagers obstructing traffic at a local QuikTrip, prompting officers to break up that assembly as well.

The situation escalated around 1 a.m., when multiple gunshots were reported from the vicinity of Cry Baby Hill. Upon arrival, police discovered that four individuals had sustained gunshot wounds and were subsequently transported to nearby hospitals. Remarkably, all victims are said to have non-life-threatening injuries.

Lieutenant Oxford expressed the difficulties law enforcement faces in unraveling the circumstances leading up to the shooting, noting that the victims have not been cooperative with police inquiries. He indicated that crime gun detectives would follow up for further details as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities are actively searching for the shooters and have acknowledged the lack of clear descriptions at this stage of their investigation.

Despite the chaotic nature of the incident, it’s reassuring that the injuries sustained were not life-threatening, and the focus will now shift to ensuring the safety of the community and resolving the case promptly.

As investigations continue, the community remains hopeful for a swift resolution to restore peace.
