In celebration of the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday, members of the media are invited to cover a grand festival slated for June 14, 2025, at the National Mall in Washington D.C. The event will kick off with an Army Fitness competition at 9:30 a.m., followed by the opening of festival exhibits at 11 a.m. Attendees will have the chance to engage with Soldiers, Army astronauts, representatives from the NFL, and Medal of Honor recipients, as well as enjoy various military demonstrations and equipment displays.

Press personnel will have unrestricted access to both the fitness event and the open public exhibits without the need for credentials. For those already registered for the parade, access to the festival is guaranteed, while others who haven’t registered can still attend. Media representatives are encouraged to arrive as early as 8 a.m. through designated entrances. They should check in at the Media Operations Center (Tent #48) located behind the main stage for further guidance.

Throughout the day, Soldiers, historians in uniform, and other military experts will be available for interviews, providing unique insights into the Army’s storied history. The festival will transition to the highly anticipated Army Birthday Parade at 6:30 p.m., showcasing the Army’s legacy with a parade of 6,700 active Soldiers in historic and current uniforms, military flyovers, and exciting demonstrations, including a performance by the Golden Knights parachute team. The celebration will culminate with a fireworks display, marking this historic milestone.

As preparations are underway, the Army and the America250 Commission are closely monitoring weather conditions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
