CBS has confirmed the renewal of ten additional shows for the 2026-2027 season, further solidifying its programming lineup. This latest announcement, made on January 22, adds to previously renewed series and introduces two new shows, bringing the total number of confirmed programs to 16.

The renewed titles include the highly popular Tracker, which will return for its fourth season, and the top-rated comedy George & Mandy’s First Marriage, set for its third season. Other series making a comeback include Matlock, which ranks as Thursday night’s #1 entertainment program and will enter its third season, along with Elsbeth (Season 4), Fire Country (Season 5), NCIS (Season 24), NCIS: Origins (Season 3), NCIS: Sydney (Season 4), Survivor (Season 51), and The Amazing Race (Season 39).

In addition to these renewals, CBS has previously announced the return of Boston Blue, a new #1 series for Friday nights, along with Sheriff Country, the #2 new series. FBI, which is the top entertainment program on Monday nights, will also be back for its ninth season, along with the #2 comedy, Ghosts, now confirmed for its sixth season.

Looking forward, CBS will introduce two new series next season: Cupertino, which reunites creative duo Robert and Michelle King with actor Mike Colter, and Einstein, featuring Matthew Gray Gubler returning to CBS after his time on Criminal Minds.

Notably, the network is still evaluating the future of several current series, including Big Brother, DMV, Harlan Coben’s Final Twist, Hollywood Squares, The Road, and Watson. With CBS hosting five of the top 11 most-watched entertainment series nationwide, the decisions ahead will significantly impact the network’s positioning.

This renewed momentum follows NCIS’s milestone 500th episode, set to air on March 17, along with a fresh showrunner for Fire Country. Survivor’s latest renewal comes in anticipation of a landmark season that begins on February 25, while FBI gears up for the concluding stretch of its multi-year pickup, along with a new extension of the franchise, CIA, set to debut in February starring Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss.

As CBS continues to shape its lineup, fans of these beloved series can look forward to more compelling content in the coming seasons.
