Cathay Pacific has reintroduced its four-times-weekly flights between Hong Kong and Brussels, reviving an essential direct route between its home city and this significant European capital. This service not only enhances travel options but also boosts connectivity for customers, reaffirming Cathay Pacific’s commitment to serving its international clients.

This summer peak season, Cathay Pacific is nearing 100 weekly return flights between Hong Kong and Europe. The airline’s flights include up to five daily departures to London, daily options to major cities like Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, Milan, Paris, and Zurich, as well as four weekly flights to Brussels and other destinations including Barcelona, Madrid, and Munich. This broad network reflects Cathay Pacific’s dedication to fostering travel opportunities across Europe.

Lavinia Lau, Cathay Pacific’s chief customer and commercial officer, expressed enthusiasm about the return to Brussels, highlighting its significance as a major political hub and a culturally rich destination. She noted that the new flight timings are designed to allow travelers to arrive refreshed, ready to explore or conduct business.

Cathay’s commitment to expanding its European services this year is evident, having already launched flights to Rome and Munich earlier in June. The airline continues to adapt and enhance its European offerings, showing resilience in a recovering travel landscape.

All flights between Hong Kong and Brussels are conducted using the Airbus A350-900, renowned for its advanced features. Passengers can expect fully flat beds in Business Class, comfortable seating in Premium Economy, and roomy accommodations in Economy Class. The airline also boasts high-quality in-flight entertainment and high-speed Wi-Fi, with complimentary access for Business Class travelers and Cathay Diamond members.

The flight schedule is as follows:
– CX291: Hong Kong to Brussels, departing at 11:50 PM and arriving at 7:20 AM the next day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
– CX294: Brussels to Hong Kong, departing at 1:25 PM and arriving at 6:55 AM the next day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Travelers to Hong Kong from Europe can take advantage of smooth connections through Hong Kong International Airport, facilitated by Cathay Pacific and its budget affiliate, HK Express, which collectively serve over 100 global destinations, including 23 in mainland China. Additionally, seamless air-to-sea and air-to-land services are available to key cities within the Greater Bay Area, enhancing connectivity further.

The service marks a positive step towards revitalizing international travel, making it more accessible for those looking to connect between Asia and Europe.
