North Carolina transportation officials have announced an exciting opportunity for attendees of the upcoming Cheerwine Festival in Salisbury. On Saturday, May 17, NC By Train will offer passenger service to Salisbury from various stations across the state. Guests traveling from cities like Charlotte, Kannapolis, High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, Durham, Cary, and Raleigh will have multiple convenient train options to reach the festival.
Trains already scheduled to stop in Salisbury will be augmented by additional services specifically for the event. Train 71 is set to arrive at 8:45 a.m., while Train 76 will offer a later arrival at 7:23 p.m. Passengers traveling from Charlotte will have access to trains at five different departure times throughout the day: 6:45 a.m., 10:25 a.m., 2:20 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7:45 p.m.
For those returning to Charlotte, NC By Train provides convenient service with departures at 6:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 12:25 p.m., 3:15 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
