On November 8, the Catalan Handball Federation celebrated FC Barcelona during the 31st edition of the Fiesta of Catalan Handball. Joan Solé, the director of the handball section, graciously accepted the award on behalf of the club, recognizing the achievements of the first team in the 2023/24 season. The accolades included victories in prominent competitions such as the Champions League, Liga ASOBAL, Copa del Rey, Copa Asobal, Supercopa Ibérica, and Supercopa de Catalunya, as well as the accomplishments of the youth teams.
Additionally, Aleix Gómez and Petar Cikusa received accolades for winning a bronze medal at the Paris Olympic Games, while Petar Cikusa, Djorde Cikusa, Ian Barrufet, and Òscar Grau were honored for their success as Junior European Champions.
The celebration took place at the Les Moreres Municipal Sports Complex in Esplugues de Llobregat, where nearly 400 attendees gathered to recognize these remarkable achievements.
