Cardi B and Offset’s relationship troubles publicly unfolded on social media on Wednesday night. The tension escalated during one of Cardi’s Instagram Live sessions when Offset accused her of being unfaithful while she was pregnant with their third child, who was born earlier in September. He commented, “U f–ked with a baby inside, tell the truth!!”
Cardi responded on Twitter with “AND DID !!!!!!,” leading some fans to speculate whether she was confirming Offset’s claim. While in Paris for Fashion Week, Cardi took to Instagram Live to confront Offset directly, expressing her frustration over his attempts to provoke her. “All weekend you was blowing up my phone, I blocked you… You tryna get me mad, ‘Let me show you the b—-s I’m f–king,’” she stated. “I don’t care… You’re f–king lame.”
In her outburst, Cardi, who filed for divorce from Offset over the summer, declared, “I’m too much woman for you. I’m too much of a boss b—h for you. And I always been too good for you… I make you look good.”
While acknowledging Offset’s role as a father to their three children, Cardi admitted to regretting her relationship with him. “All three of them — I don’t regret none of them, but I regret you,” she said. “You a good daddy… But f–k you. I regret you. I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you, n—a.”
Offset responded to her comments in the live session’s comment section, calling her “insecure” and suggesting that her continued remarks indicate she is hurt. He also hinted at their divorce, saying, “leave alone don’t you got a n—a ain’t we divorced.”
Cardi and Offset were married in 2017 and have had a tumultuous relationship, including a previous divorce filing in September 2020 that was later rescinded. They share three children: Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and their newest child, born on September 7.
