Cardi B and Offset are experiencing tension as they navigate their second divorce. In a series of Instagram Live sessions on Wednesday night, Cardi accused Offset of bombarding her with messages to provoke jealousy over his reported new relationships. She expressed regret about their past relationship but emphasized her appreciation for their three children.
While Cardi did not mention Offset by name during the livestreams, she addressed him directly, asserting that he is not worth her time and asserting her strength as a woman. She said, “I don’t care” about any of Offset’s other relationships, claiming that she has always been too good for him. Cardi acknowledged his role as a father, stating, “Thank you for my kids, though… I regret you, but I don’t regret my kids; you’re a good daddy.”
The couple, who married in 2017, share three children: Kulture, age 6, Wave, age 3, and a newborn. Cardi’s latest child was announced shortly after news of her pregnancy and divorce broke simultaneously. She previously filed for divorce from Offset in 2020.
During her livestream, Cardi revealed that Offset commented on her video, accusing her of infidelity during her pregnancy. She mentioned she had intended to keep their issues private but felt the need to speak out due to Offset’s behavior, which she described as “messy” and “petty.”
Cardi expressed her determination not to let Offset take what she has worked hard for and suggested their path is leading toward legal battles, saying, “Now we’re going to court war, right?” Though they had recently reunited for their son’s birthday, it appears their relationship remains tumultuous.
