Cardi B is expecting her third child.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post on Thursday, sharing two photos where she is seen cradling her belly and gazing at it.
This revelation follows shortly after she filed for divorce from rapper Offset, which was confirmed by a representative for Cardi B to NBC News.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!” Cardi B, 31, wrote in her caption. “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
Cardi B and Offset, who married in 2017, have two children: 6-year-old daughter Kulture and 2-year-old son Wave. Their divorce “is not based on any one particular incident; it has been a long time coming and is amicable,” a representative for Cardi B said in a statement on Thursday.
Cardi B had previously filed for divorce from Offset in 2020 before the couple decided to reconcile.
The rapper frequently shares her affection for her children on social media, posting photos and celebrating their milestones on Instagram.
Last month, she wished a happy birthday to her “beautiful, gentle, amazing daughter,” writing in an Instagram post that she has been “growing up with you cause I learned sooo much by just being your mom.”
The pregnancy news has received an outpouring of support from fans, who flooded her comments with congratulations and well wishes.
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down,” Cardi B wrote, “but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
