Cardi B and Offset have welcomed their third child into the family, announcing the arrival of a baby girl born on September 7.
Cardi celebrated the news on Instagram, calling her daughter “the prettiest lil thing” and sharing her birth date alongside pink flower and heart emojis. However, she did not reveal the baby’s name.
In the first photos shared, Cardi is seen holding her newborn, while her daughter Kulture tenderly holds her new sister and Offset cradles their son Wave. Cardi did not shy away from the realities of childbirth, sharing images from her labor and breastfeeding experience.
The slideshow includes moments of Offset bonding with their baby through skin-to-skin contact while seated next to Cardi.
Cardi B announced her pregnancy in August, shortly after filing for divorce from Offset for the second time. At that time, a representative indicated that the separation was amicable and expected.
She emphasized in her pregnancy reveal that “with every ending comes a new beginning,” expressing her gratitude for the joy and strength her unborn child brought to her life. Cardi wrote a heartfelt message to her baby, acknowledging how they inspired her and reaffirmed her belief that she could balance her life, love, and career.
Offset, who has three other children from a previous relationship, and Cardi have been together since their collaboration on “Lick” in January 2017. They became engaged that October and married in 2018. Their daughter Kulture was born in 2018, followed by son Wave in 2021.
